These are helpful in times of actual danger. However, sometimes these responses get activated when they are no longer necessary. FFFF reduce or eliminate the ability rationalize, reason, and properly process incoming information. This can leads us to shut down, people-please, or become reactive and highly emotional. EMDR is a highly effective solution-focused trauma therapy that helps to reduce the emotional charge
associated with a memory or limiting core belief.
